notes

The tour is guided through the ruins by bicycle or bike-taxi (the bike-taxi is a tricycle in which a person takes you along the trails of Cobá) which makes this tour unique. At all times you will be accompanied by one of our guides certified by INAH (National Institute of Anthropology and History). They will show you great structures, ball courts, pyramids, the observatory, and several important stelae.

After all this activity it is time for dinner. The meeting point is in front of the main lagoon of Cobá; the menu, a delicious Buffet of typical food from the region with chicken or cochinita pibil, rice, beans, spaghetti, salad and homemade desserts. Includes red wine, white wine or flavored water. You can add lobster to your menu, for an extra cost. Dinner is enlivened by a live performance of a passage from the sacred book Maya Popol Vuh, in which the mythical divine twins defeat the lord of the underworld in the ball game. The musicians are authentic Mayan artists!
